About Tracey Harmer

Tracey started riding at the age of 2 on a Welsh Section A pony.  At 18 years of age, Tracey went to The Yorkshire RC to train for her AI and Intermediate with Jane and Christopher Bartle before going on to train with the British Young Riders Dressage Squad.  She then went over to Germany and trained with Reiner Klimke, who has won six Olympic gold and two Olympic bronze medals, before moving on to train with Wolfram Whittig where Tracey still travels to today.

Tracey has trained six horses to Advanced and two to Grand Prix dressage level. She now teachers as well as rides for clients and has wins from both Horse of the Year Show and Olympia.

The Ellen Valley Riding Club is very lucky to have Tracey come and teach. Please contact Gill 07871 244765, if you wish to put your name down for a lesson.  The lessons are held at Kingrigg Farm, Carlisle.  The lessons are one hour long: private lessons cost £30 and shared lessons cost £25 and are held usually twice a month, one Friday and one Saturday, starting at 10am.

Please note: Members who support the club by attending our events and volunteering to help will be given priority at lessons and clinics run by the Club. Please note that if you cancel a lesson once times have been allocated and we cannot fill your place you will be asked to pay the fee in full.
